  Pilates Pilates is an exercise system devised to improve trunk and spinal muscle control
The key aims of Pilates include;

  • Improve flexability and balance
Pilates is appropriate for all ages.  Successful in the management of; spinal pain, postural conditions, sporting injury rehabilitation and fitness programs.

Once your Pilates Equipment Progam has been tailor-made, you may participate in supervised group sessions.  The sessions are supervised by a qualified physiotherapist, and hold a maximum of six clients ensuring optimal attention to detail and supervision.

Massage
Therapeutic massage is available at the clinic and performed by qualified physiotherapists.  Therapeutic massage can be used for the specific treatment of muscular conditions or for general relaxation purposes.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is offered as a seperate therapy, and also inconjunction with conventional physiothrapy techniques to provide an holistic treatment. 

Katia Ferrar (physiotherapist) had a great interest in oriental medicine and offers acupuncture and moxa therapy at the studio.  Katia has carried out extensive acupuncture training accredited by The Australian Physiotherapy Association.
